Today, twenty-six years after the murders, a small documentary crew has come to Rosewood to investigate the legacy of these killings. Through the recollections of those connected with the Harper murders, as well as conversations with a woman aspiring to write a book on the case, there emerges a picture of that fateful night which only adds to the essential mystery: Who killed the Harpers, and why?
